The 21.67m single/twin-rig whitefish trawler Jubilee Quest GY 900 is the biggest new vessel built for Grimsby for 25 years and only the port’s third new build in 20 years (FN 9 October).
She has been built by Parkol Marine for the Olbek Fishing Company, a partnership between skippers Graham Hall and Ross Crooks and Jubilee Fishing Ltd of Grimsby.
Jubilee Quest was named by Vera Allard, whose late husband Derek founded Jubilee Fishing in 1977. The launch took place on the day that Derek Allard would have celebrated his 74th birthday.
