Seattle-based Arctic Storm Management Group's new Bering Sea catcher-processor will keep the name of Arctic Fjord, the ship it is replacing. But beyond that, the vessel will bring a series of revolutionary changes to the company, Arctic Storm Management CEO Doug Christensen told IntraFish.
"It will be first time in over 30 years of my involvement with this company that we've put a new vessel in service," Christensen said.
The Arctic Storm's fishing vessel is the first in the US pollock fleet to be completely replaced.
