Anchovy harvest reaches 1 million-ton milestone

The first-season quota of 3 million metric tons is the highest set by Peru since 2018.

The Peruvian anchovy catch had reached 1.086 million tons by May 11, with a daily average of 54,347 metric tons landed since the season began.
