The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) said Friday the 2017/2018 commercial Dungeness crab fishery in southeastern Alaska will open Thursday, June 15.
Alaska Board of Fisheries changed the start time for both the summer and fall seasons from noon to 8.00 am as well as established new closed fishing areas in Port Frederick near Hoonah and Favorite Bay near Angoon.
