Danish land-based salmon farmer Langsand Laks remained in the red in the financial year of 2015, but management is budgeting an operating profit for the current financial year.

The facility, which was touted as the first commercial land-based salmon farm, faced production issues and had to temporarily stop production in late 2014 and early 2015.

Langsand Laks halved its loss between the year, however, reporting a net loss of DKK 8.6 million (€1.2 million/$1.3 million) last year, down from a loss of DKK 16.3
