Norwegian aquaculture giant NTS, owner of Midt-Norsk Havbruk and the largest shareholder in Norway Royal Salmon, increased its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) by 8 percent in the second quarter, mainly due to its growing wellboat business.

The company’s EBITDA amounted to NOK 221 million (€21.3 million/$25.1 million) in the quarter, although revenues slipped slightly to NOK 601 million (€58 million/$68.2 million).

Operating profit for the second quarter of 2021 ended at NOK 130 million (€12.5 million/$14.8
