'We like to control the resource where it starts': Glenn Cooke is still on the hunt for seafood deals

Glenn Cooke, CEO of Cooke Aquaculture and the Cooke Inc. family of companies, said the company remains "very active" when it comes to purchasing more resources, signaling that the group's long run of acquisitions over the past several years isn't over yet.

Cooke told an economic panel during the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) Global Seafood Marketing Conference (GSMC) Wednesday the company remains interested in both farming and fishing segments in its drive to expand -- with a focus on control.
