Aquascot, the dedicated salmon supplier to UK retailer Waitrose, reported healthy results for its latest financial year, marking an apparent turnaround in fortunes.

The group posted an operating profit of just more than £1.1 million (€1.2 million/$1.4 million), up 27 percent on last year when the figure was £880,566 (€980,211/$1.2 million).

Turnover climbed 7 percent to £65 million (€72.4 million/$85.5 million) while sales volume also increased by 7 percent.
