Strong harvest volumes helped Grieg Seafood overcome low salmon prices in the third quarter of 2019.

The Norwegian salmon producer reported earnings before interest, tax, demortization and amortization (EBITDA) of NOK 259.5 million (€25.4 million/$28.3 million), a year-on-year increase of 19 percent.

A 27 percent hike in revenues to NOK 2 billion (€196 million/$218 million) contributed to the rise, which in turn was driven up by a 24 percent increase in harvests to 21,028 metric tons gutted weight.
