Viciunai Group on Wednesday announced it acquired food distributor CSF France, a move that gives the Lithuanian company a further foothold in one of Europe's largest seafood markets.
CSF has been a long time distribution partner for Viciunai in France, and holds an estimated 10-15 percent of the country's lucrative surimi market, with a major focus on France's foodservice segment.
Viciunai Group CEO Šarūnas Matijošaitis said the company expects the acquisition will boost sales by over 50 percent in the country.
