Maine-based A.C. Inc. has acquired shellfish harvesting companies Beals Lobster Company and Close to Coast Seafood, both of Jonesport, Maine.
The purchase of Beals Lobster Company adds four additional fishing vessels to support A.C.'s rapidly growing hardshell clam business.
