US importer and processor of premium seafood Mark Foods and frozen seafood distributor Arista Industries' seafood division will merge and trade under the Mark Foods name.
The combined company is expected to sell approximately 100 million pounds of seafood and generate annual revenue exceeding $800 million (€748 million), the companies said.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The business will continue to focus on seabass from Chile, mussels and lobster from New Zealand and farmed and wild shrimp.
