US private investment fund Platinum Equity plans to finalize the takeover of Spanish fishing giant Grupo Iberconsa on Friday, reports Faro de Vigo.
The sale will happen after "competition authorizations of some countries are fulfilled," Portobello Capital Partner Juan Luiz Ramirez said.
The €500 million ($557 million) deal is the largest corporate operation in the Spanish fishing business.
