Unique Seafood Pelagic acquires Oceanwide Seafood

Orpington, UK-based Unique Seafood Pelagic has acquired the assets of Oceanwide Seafood.

Following the acquisition, Oceanwide Seafood will be run as a Unique Seafood Pelagic operation beginning Jan. 1.

Freddy Darnell will continue to manage Oceanwide's Grimsby office but will be responsible to Unique Seafood Pelagic Managing Director Brent Bedford.

"There are many synergies between the two companies that will provide an excellent opportunity to develop the product range and offer a wider choice to all customers," Unique Seafood Pelagic said.
