Australian salmon and shrimp producer Tassal reported strong results in its 2022 financial year, with higher volumes and prices more than compensating for supply chain cost inflation.

The company, who Monday reached an agreement to be bought be Canadian seafood giant Cooke Aquaculture, reported a 25.3 percent surge in operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to AUD 175.6 million (€121.2 million/$122.8 million).
