Grieg's Canadian operations, which as of now are limited to farming in British Columbia, saw earnings recover in the third quarter, re-entering the black despite lower volumes.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose to NOK 111.2 million ($12.9 million/€11.2 million), substantially more than the company's earnings in the third quarter of 2020, when it reported a loss of NOK 27 million ($3.1/€2.7 million).

Grieg harvested 4,289 metric tons of salmon in British Columbia, down 35 percent compared to the previous year.
