Stolt Sea Farm posted $0.3 million (€ 0.2 million) operating profit for the first six months of 2021, reversing a $13.5 million (€11.4 million) loss during the same period the year prior.

The $13.8 million (€ 11.6 million) profit increase was due mainly to a $13.1 million (€ 11 million) recovery in the value of biological assets following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stolt Sea Farm’s turnover also increased, with the group posting $43 million ( €36 million) in operating revenue compared to $37 million (€ 31 million) during the same period last year.
