Spanish seafood canning giant Jealsa expects to close its 2020 financial year with an 11 percent increase in sales to €701 million ($849 million).

Despite what he called an "optimistic" forecast in a local news report posted on a company official's Linkedin page, Jealsa President Jesus Manuel Alonso Escuris said the company has invested heavily in some 75 measures to protect the workforce from COVID-19 and keep supplies running to the Spanish and international markets.
