Shares in land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire closed Wednesday trading in Oslo up 11.6 percent to NOK 39.35 (€4.03/$4.68).

The share price was already moving up, but received a further boost with the announcement that Atlantic Sapphire board member Andre Skarbo bought shares in the company worth around NOK 3.8 million (€389,776/$452,622).

The purchase lifted Skarbo's stake to 1.2
