Scanbio falls silent on sale process

On August 10 last year, IntraFish reported that Norwegian fishmeal and oil producer Scanbio was to be sold, or possibly be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

"This is likely to be adopted at the board meeting in September, and an active sales process can start in the second half," CEO John Binde told IntraFish at the time.

But since then executives at the company have fallen silent.

IntraFish contacted Binde several times over the last few months to get a status update, but he did not respond to phone calls or SMS.
