Icelandic fishing giant Samherji’s UK arm Seagold revealed is has pulled out of the UK retail space, with plans to focus instead on supplying the seafood processing market.
Seagold is Samherji's UK arm for the marketing and distribution of Ice Fresh branded products, which are produced in a factory in Grimsby.
In its latest financial results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2019, Seagold said the decision was taken "to end the direct sales relationship between its subsidiary company lce Fresh Seafood Ltd and the retail sector."
