Global salmon farmer Grieg Seafood saw its fortunes return to form in the third quarter , with results reflecting rocketing earnings after a rocky year of pandemic-related problems and debilitating costs.

The producer more than quadrupled its year-on-year earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization to NOK 251 million (€25.4 million/$29.4 million) from NOK 74 million (€7.5 million/$8.7 million).

This turnaround was prompted by bigger volumes, better prices, higher harvests and lower production costs.
