Norwegian salmon producer SalMar saw solid performance in the third quarter, managing to keep consistent growth with the help of high prices and despite inflationary pressures.

The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization rose 64 percent to NOK 1.6 billion (€154 million/$154 million), while operating revenue rose 22 percent to NOK 4.9 billion (€471 million/$471 million).

The producer, who has production in Norway, Iceland and Scotland, harvested 53,600 metric tons during the quarter, resulting in an operational EBIT of NOK 24.51
