Rising costs cushioned by soaring harvests, prices for Norway Royal Salmon in Q4

Increased production costs for Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) were offset by soaring demand and prices in the fourth quarter.

The company's operational earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) more than tripled, rocketing to NOK 141.5 million (€14.1 million/$16 million).

Operational revenue rose by 30 percent to NOK 1.5 billion (€149 million/$169 million) as harvests for the group swelled by a massive 86 percent to 13,257 metric tons.

Overall, the company's production earned it an 87 percent increase in earnings before interest and tax per kilogram to NOK 9.43
