Miami-based distributor Quirch Foods acquired Butts Foods, another protein distributor holding five distribution facilities in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.
The takeover marks Quirch Foods expansion spree following the opening of its new distribution center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Quirch currently owns six distribution facilities and is the exclusive distributor of the Panamei Seafood brand in the United States, Carribean, and Central and South America.
