Swedish private equity fund Summa Equity inked a deal Friday to buy out founder Jerzy Malek's remaining 25 percent stake in Polish salmon and whitefish processor Milarex, the company confirmed to IntraFish.

In 2017, the Swedish-based fund purchased 75 percent of the shares in Milarex from Malek.

Last year, Summa Equity established a new NOK 6 billion (€618 million/$696 million) fund and has been on the hunt for a new investment ever since.
