Norwegian seafood giant Austevoll Seafood posted lower earnings in the first quarter of 2021, with strong pelagic operations in Peru partially offsetting a drop in its salmon and whitefish divisions.
The group’s earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortisation (EBIDTA) in the first quarter totaled NOK 1,095 million (€107.8 million/$131.5 million) down 9 percent compared with the same period a year ago.
