Private equity-backed hydroacoustic technology company CageEye announced last week it acquired Norwegian fish farming and cleanerfish equipment producer NorseAqua.

NorseAqua, founded in 2014 by Lars Berg-Hansen, sells a range of products targeted at minimizing lice loads on salmon.

NorseAqua and CageEye will continue to function independently and collaborate on technology development for feed.

NorseAqua CEO Sveinung Kristiansen will retain his position following the acquisition.
