Madrid-listed group Pescanova, shareholder of 1.6 percent of Nueva Pescanova, reported an operating profit of €86,000 ($106,287) in the 12-month period through November.

Old Pescanova’s sales came in at €69,000 ($85,276) during the period, down from the €104,000 ($128,533) reported a year earlier.

The company reported a loss of €6,000 ($7,415) for the period, compared with a loss of €2.9 million ($3.6 million), a reduction of 99.9 percent from the year prior.

Its main activity is its participation in the fishing group, which was diluted to its current ownership with a capital increase approved by the board of directors of Nueva Pescanova in 2017.
