Norwegian aquaculture giant NTS, the largest shareholder in Norway Royal Salmon, has won the bidding war for salmon farmer SalmoNor and will be merging its operations with those of its wholly-owned subsidiary Midt-Norsk Havbruk.

The merged company produced by the NOK 3 billion (€294 million/$360 million) deal will be called SalmoNor, according to a stock exchange release from NTS on Wednesday.
