Norwegian salmon farmer Eide Fjordbruk is acquiring 70 percent of the shares in smolt producer Lialaks from Erko Seafood.
Lialaks is based in the municipality of Solund in Sogn og Fjordane and produces approximately 600,000 salmon smolt annually.
Eide Fjordbruk already has significant production in the region and would like to invest further long term to be able to build a reliable cluster with both smolt and processed seafood.
