Norwegian land-based salmon farmer Gigante Salmon's first fish will be market-ready by 2024, according to its 2021 annual report.
The company is still in a developing phase, and while it generated a small profit of NOK 2.7 million (€285,000/$313,000) during 2021, this profit is mainly due to deferred tax benefits after its share issue last year.
Gigante Salmon has two projects in its portfolio, the development and operation of Gigante Salmon in Rodoy and the Gigante Salmon-owned site on Feoya island in Northern Norway.
