The Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (Okokrim) has charged two employees of Pareto Securities and other brokers in Norway over allegations of fraud and market manipulation, reports Dagens Næringsliv.

Among the accused, Pareto Senior Partner, Corporate Finance Petter Dragesund is being investigated for allegedly agreeing on share prices of Crew Gold in 2010, and although he is appealing the charges, Dragesund requested to leave his position while the case is ongoing.

The other two brokers are also under investigation for similar behaviors in the Crew Gold transaction in 2010.
