Norway Royal Salmon reported its best first quarter results in its history, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of NOK 222.5 million (€23.7 million/$26.7 million), up 32 percent from last year.
Sales amounted to NOK 1.1 billion (€117.4 million/$132.1 million), up 17.4 percent from the NOK 938.8 million (€100.2 million/$112.7 million), with harvesting and sale volumes coming flat year-on-year.
During the quarter, the company harvested 7,181 metric tons of salmon, a 0.4 percent fall compared with last year’s 7,209 metric tons.
