Aquaculture conglomerate NTS on Wednesday increased the offer for the remaining shares in Norway Royal Salmon in an attempt to convince reluctant shareholders to sell out.

NTS, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, raised its offer price by 14 percent to NOK 240 (€23.06/$27.08) per share after paying that price to NTS CEO Harry Boe and NTS Chairman Odd Reidar Oie for their 378,883 shares.

NTS, which already held a significant stake in Norway Royal Salmon, announced its intention to acquire all of Norway Royal Salmon on July 16, and has since that time steadily bought up small blocks of holdings from investors at an offering price of NOK 209 (€20.10/$23.70).
