Norwegian halibut farmer Nordic Halibut widened its losses further in the second quarter of 2021, despite seeing a healthy boost in sales as the hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) sector started to bounce back.
The group’s operating loss grew to NOK 15.6 million (€1.5 million/$1.8 million) in the quarter compared with NOK 12.8 million (€1.2 million/$1.4 million) a year ago, with the total result after tax amounting to a loss of NOK 17.7 million (€1.7 million/$2 million).
