Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar is expected to deliver third-quarter revenue of NOK 4 billion ($468.4 million/€404.5 million) and an operating profit of NOK 961 million ($112 million/€97.2 million), when it announces its results this week, and Norwegian brokerage Nordea Markets thinks the company is one of the most robust and efficient salmon producers going into 2022.

"We believe they offer a resilient business model that provides downside protection in challenging periods," writes the brokerage.

Nordea also believes SalMar has significant growth potential in its offshore plans, as well as from organic and inorganic initiatives off the coast of Norway.
