New Zealand King Salmon started its trading day Friday with shares down 45 percent since the start of the week, as the company revealed a “disappointing” set of earnings for 2022 on Wednesday.

The stock started the week at NZD 0.91 (€0.57/$0.62) per share and, after a series of subsequent drops, closed Thursday at NZD 0.50 (€0.31/$0.34).

In 24 hours, the share price fell 42 percent from its high point of NZD 0.86 (€0.54/$0.59) on Wednesday morning. It opened Thursday morning at NZD 0.66
