Norwegian salmon farmer Lovundlaks doubled its earnings last year, alongside its volumes and sales, predominantly thanks to the new licenses it acquired in the summer of 2018.

The company's operating profit amounted to NOK 256 million (€23.9 million/$27 million) in 2019, while turnover reached NOK 612 million (€57.2 million/$64.6 million).

Lovundlaks produced just over 10,000 metric tons of live salmon during the year, which is the equivalent to around 9,000 metric tons of gutted weight (GWT) -- almost a doubling from previous years.
