California-based Moleaer, a leader in nanobubble technology, on Tuesday closed a $40 million (€38.3 million) Series C financing round led by funds managed by Apollo and joined by Husqvarna, a strategic partner, and existing investors.

Nanobubble injection technology is designed to improve water quality with enhanced oxygen saturation, which can improve the health of fish.

Salmon farming sites in Chile and Canada use the technology to counter mass mortality events such as algal blooms.
