Mowi will not be the last to make a grab for NTS, say analysts

Salmon giant Mowi has made an offer to acquire shares in aquaculture services and salmon farming giant NTS, but it won't be the last, analysts told IntraFish on Monday.

The offer is for all shares in the company at a price of NOK 110 (€10.91/$12.35) per share, valuing the company at around NOK 13.8 billion (€1.4 billion/$1.6 billion).

It is an attractive offer from Mowi, but many parties are interested in NTS, Pareto analyst Carl-Emil Kjolas Johannessen told IntraFish.

Kepler analyst Christian Olsen Nordby agreed, pointing out that with NTS shares currently trading above the Mowi offer, another bidder will likely come forward.
