Norwegian K. Strommen Lakseoppdrett, a salmon farming company to be acquired by salmon giant Mowi, reported financial losses last year driven by biological problems at one of its sites during the first two quarters.

K. Strommen Lakseoppdrett posted an operating loss of NOK 5.2 million (€536,552/$596,690) last year, a two-fold decrease from NOK 30 million (€3.1 million/$3.4 million) worth of operating profits in the year prior, despite cutting costs as well.
