Despite the coronavirus-stricken market, Vietnamese shrimp giant Minh Phu is eyeing an opportunity to expand its market share in Europe, China and Russia thanks to its healthy financial position.

The company has set a target to lift its profit after tax by 15 to 20 percent in the next five to 10 years.

However, the company struggled with both revenue and net profit during the first quarter of 2020, similar to many other companies faced with coronavirus financial pressures.
