Land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire’s share price closed Monday trading down 15 percent, following news of a mass mortality event at its Danish facility on July 9 that resulted in a loss of hundreds of metric tons of fish.

As the bell to end trading rang, the company's share price stood at NOK 74.60 (€7.20/$8.60) -- 15 percent below Friday's closing price of NOK 87.80 (€8.50/$10.10).

The drop puts the company’s current market cap at NOK 6.8
