Japanese seafood giant Maruha Nichiro has acquired tuna processor Marine Access as part of its medium-term plan to expand its fisheries business value chain in Japan and overseas.
Marine Access has a base in Shizuoka Prefecture, and operates in a range of business areas from procurement of marine products -- mainly tuna -- processing (sashimi, negitoro, etc.),
