Princes, the UK-based subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, saw its profits rise in the year ended March 31, 2019, driven by various marketing and branding efforts.

Operating profit grew 57 percent to £15 million (€17.6 million/$19.6 million) year-on-year, following two years of struggling with high raw material costs.

However, revenues slid 6 percent to £1.5 billion (€1.7 billion/$1.9 billion) compared to same period last year, due to reducing volume in two areas of the business.
