Chilean salmon producer Salmones Austral was dragged to a $7.6 million (€6.5 million) loss in 2020 by low salmon prices and the effects of the global coronavirus pandemic.
A year earlier, the company posted earnings of $57.9 million (€49.3 million).
Changes to the way its coho salmon sales were accounted for also affected results, the company said.
