Norwegian salmon giant Leroy Seafood grew its harvest volumes 24 percent in the third quarter of this fiscal year compared to last year, according to its latest trading update.

Total harvest volumes in the third quarter reached 46,000 metric tons.

Leroy Aurora harvested 9,500 metric tons, which is almost double the amount it did in the third quarter last year, while Leroy Midt harvested 1.5 percent less compared to the same period last year.

Harvest volumes at the Leroy Sjotroll site jumped 55 percent compared to the year prior to 17,200 metric tons.
