Danish aquaculture technology supplier Billund Aquaculture closed a record 12 deals in various parts of the world during the first quarter of this year, driven by the growing demand for land-based and traditional aquaculture projects.
The recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) supplier inked deals for four construction contracts in Chile for Atlantic salmon parr, smolt and post-smolt systesm; one trout facility in Peru; three salmon smolt and post-smolt facilities in Norway; one kingfish facility in central Europe and three design-contracts for Atlantic salmon growout in Asia and Middle East.
