Norwegian equipment and technology group Akva saw its earnings tumble 15 percent in the second quarter of the year mostly due to final commercial clean-up and provisions for old land-based projects.
The group’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased to NOK 79 million (€7.6 million/$8.9 million) in the quarter, down from NOK 93 million (€9 million/$10.5 million) last year.
Net profit also fell 38 percent to NOK 16 million (€1.5 million/$1.8 million).
